Get started
bzzd turns messages from your servers, scripts and services into push notifications on every phone and computer you add. Each service gets an app with its own URL; anything posted to it buzzes.
Quickstart
-
Create an account
Sign up with your email. Free needs no card.
-
Add your phone
Open bzzd.io on the phone, sign in and allow notifications. On iPhone and iPad, first tap Share → Add to Home Screen and open bzzd from there: Apple only allows web notifications for apps on the Home Screen (iOS 16.4 or later). Add your computer the same way, from its browser.
-
Make an app
One for each thing that sends alerts, like your backups or Uptime Kuma. Pick the service, and bzzd shows where its URL goes.
-
Send something
Paste the URL into the service, or post to it yourself:
curl -d "Backup finished on nas-01" https://api.bzzd.io/v1/hooks/APP_TOKEN
