Sentry

Alert rules, new and resolved issues, and errors. Make an app for Sentry in bzzd, then follow these steps.

Set it up

APP_TOKEN stands for your app's token. Once you've made the app, bzzd shows these steps with it filled in.

  1. In Sentry, open Settings → Developer Settings → Custom Integrations and create an Internal Integration named bzzd.
  2. Paste this as the Webhook URL and turn on Alert Rule Action.

  1. Give it Read access to Issue & Event, tick the webhooks you want, such as issue, and save.
  2. In an alert rule, add the action Send a notification via bzzd.

Errors and fatal events arrive as high priority, with a link to the issue in Sentry.

Good to know

  • Every alert goes to all your devices; an app you share also reaches the people you share it with.
  • Things that look like passwords or tokens in an alert are hidden before it's saved.
  • The webhook URL also takes bzzd's own fields, so you can post your own messages to it. See Sending messages.
