Grafana

Alerts from Grafana alerting. Make an app for Grafana in bzzd, then follow these steps.

Set it up

APP_TOKEN stands for your app's token. Once you've made the app, bzzd shows these steps with it filled in.

  1. In Grafana, open Alerting → Contact points and add one.
  2. Set Integration to Webhook and paste this as the URL.

  1. Save, then press Test. Use the contact point in a notification policy.

Firing alerts arrive as high priority and resolved ones as normal, with a link to the dashboard. Long messages are shortened to fit.

Good to know

  • Every alert goes to all your devices; an app you share also reaches the people you share it with.
  • Things that look like passwords or tokens in an alert are hidden before it's saved.
  • The webhook URL also takes bzzd's own fields, so you can post your own messages to it. See Sending messages.
