Gitea or Forgejo

Pushes, pull requests, issues and releases. Make an app for Gitea or Forgejo in bzzd, then follow these steps.

Set it up

APP_TOKEN stands for your app's token. Once you've made the app, bzzd shows these steps with it filled in.

  1. In the repository, or the organization, open Settings → Webhooks → Add webhook and choose Gitea (on Forgejo, Forgejo).
  2. Paste this as the Target URL, with the method on POST.

  1. Choose the events you want, add the webhook, then use Test delivery.

Pushes list their commits; pull requests, issues and releases arrive with a link. Edits and label changes are skipped.

Good to know

  • Every alert goes to all your devices; an app you share also reaches the people you share it with.
  • Things that look like passwords or tokens in an alert are hidden before it's saved.
  • The webhook URL also takes bzzd's own fields, so you can post your own messages to it. See Sending messages.
